Handy Tool 2.0.3

A fix release: uninstalling with winget works.

winget uninstall patrick-1984.HandyTool reported "Successfully uninstalled", but Handy stayed installed. Its uninstall entry had no quiet form, so winget started the uninstaller without /S. The uninstaller then opened its window and waited for a click that never came, while winget reported success.

The installer now also registers the quiet uninstall command, and winget uninstalls silently, with Handy running or closed. Existing installs get the fix with this update. This was found by testing the winget install in a clean Windows Sandbox.

Install

Windows x64 — Handy.Tool_2.0.3_x64-setup.exe below, or winget install patrick-1984.HandyTool (a new version reaches winget after Microsoft's review). The installer is not code-signed with Authenticode, so SmartScreen will warn: More info → Run anyway. Existing installs update in place.

Linux — rpm, deb or AppImage. These are built but have not been tested on real hardware.

macOS — the disk images are built, but the app does not work on macOS yet.
