Fixes from testing on a fresh Windows machine.
Fixes
- The Claude Desktop extension now starts on Windows. Claude Desktop runs extensions without your PATH, so TerraVision couldn't find Git and stopped before it could say so. It now finds Git (and Terraform) wherever Windows has them registered, and a missing Git is reported with the command to install it instead of stopping the server.
- Every assistant sees the full tool documentation. Claude Code cut tool descriptions at 2,048 characters, dropping the docs for flows and edge labels, and OpenAI-based assistants such as Codex reject descriptions over 1,024. All descriptions now fit.
- A faster first install. Two unneeded packages are gone, including one that had to be built from source on Windows, so assistants are less likely to time out while TerraVision installs itself.
- Clearer setup: the extension's setup screen now lists
winget install --id Git.Git, and the docs say Claude Desktop on Windows and macOS doesn't need uv.
