MenuBarGate 1.0.1

Choose a tag to compare

@paulantomc paulantomc released this 25 Aug 18:08

Adds the approved custom app icon.

Requirements: macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon (M1 or newer).

Need an Intel or universal build? Please open an issue; one can be added if there is demand.

Install: download MenuBarGate.dmg, open it, and drag MenuBarGate.app to Applications.

Trust and permissions: this build is ad-hoc signed, not Developer ID signed or notarized, so Gatekeeper may require Control-click → Open once. Accessibility permission is required for the system-wide pointer event tap and full-screen check. Keyboard events pass through unchanged; there is no networking or analytics. The bundle identity is unchanged from v1.0.0.

The README links directly to the small Swift implementation and explains how it works.
