DogecoinVM Wallet 0.2.4
- Adding or removing a fingerprint no longer locks you out. The wallet's Secure Enclave key now asks for Touch ID or your Mac's password, instead of being tied to the exact fingerprints enrolled when it was made. A wallet from an earlier version moves to the new kind the next time it unlocks; the old files are kept until the new ones are proven to give back the same key.
- Back up before you receive. A new wallet shows its key and asks you to confirm its last six characters before Receive and Move to DogecoinVM are enabled. Older wallets without a confirmed backup show a reminder until you do.
- Restore from your backup key. If a wallet can't be unlocked (Enclave key no longer working, file missing or damaged), the app now says which, and offers to restore from your backup key: it builds a new vault, checks the key belongs to this wallet, and moves the unusable files aside.
- Each unlock checks the shown address against the key; a copied key is cleared from the clipboard after a minute; clearer messages for each unlock failure.
Installed copies offer the update on their next daily check, or choose Check for Updates…. New installs: drag DogecoinVM Wallet into Applications (macOS 14 or later).

- Transfers in flight. A card for each transfer until it's done, under your balances. Deposits show a row of confirmation blocks that fill as Dogecoin blocks arrive, with the time left and what arrives. Withdrawals show final on DogecoinVM, paid on Dogecoin, then in a Dogecoin block. Dogecoin sends show the change that comes back.
- When Dogecoin goes quiet, the cards say so. Its blocks average a minute but come at random, so progress can pause.
- No more "txn-mempool-conflict". The app remembers each payment until it confirms and never offers the coins it spends again.

- Cheaper DogecoinVM payments. Payments on DogecoinVM now pay the network's minimum fee, 0.001 DOGE per kB: about 0.00023 DOGE for a typical payment, a tenth of before. DogecoinVM has room to spare, so they still make the next block, final in about two seconds. Dogecoin payments are unchanged.
- Deposit times by size. Small deposits are credited sooner: 1 confirmation for up to 1 DOGE, 6 for up to 10 DOGE, 12 for up to 50 DOGE, and 20 above that. The review shows the count for your deposit.

Updates the moment a block lands. The app now listens to the bridge's live event stream and refreshes as soon as either chain has a new block. A payment on DogecoinVM shows as soon as it's final, in about two seconds, instead of up to 15 seconds later. The 15-second check remains as a fallback if the connection drops.
Installed copies update themselves. New installs: download the DMG and drag DogecoinVM Wallet into Applications (macOS 14 or later).

- The key is kept encrypted to the Mac's Secure Enclave.
- Signed automatic updates (Sparkle).
Install: download the DMG, drag DogecoinVM Wallet into Applications. Requires macOS 14 or later, on Apple silicon or an Intel Mac with a T2 chip.
Verify: signed with Developer ID Application: Paul Grey (UKU2H2D5Z7) and notarized by Apple.
