The portfolio as it existed before the writing section was added — designed in late 2024, first committed January 1, 2025, last touched July 2025.

Preserved as a time capsule of what AI-assisted web development produced in that era: vanilla HTML/CSS/JS, a retro Macintosh desktop metaphor, JSON-config-driven menus and windows, a block-based document system, and an LED visitor counter. No build step, no framework.

Everything after this tag is the modern era: the writing desktop, the schema essay, and the revamp.
