Patch release: defect audit fixes, no new features.

Fixed

  • B1 (blocker): the LLM check was dead code under the v2 settings schema — all reads now use llm.*; locked by tests/settings-paths.php and a smoke regression.
  • B2 (blocker): the 4.0 → 4.1 upgrade wiped the migrated LLM API key and llm.enabled; the migration now runs before the settings snapshot, locked by tests/upgrade-4.0-to-4.1.php.
  • M1–M12, L1–L10: design-system CSS gaps (c-save-btn, c-country-filter, CF7 editor panel), removed the Update URI header, safe posted-data access in LanguageValidator, HMAC-salted honeypot field names, per-installation debug log names, documented shared-proxy spoofing risk, and more — see CHANGELOG.

Added

  • CI workflow (.github/workflows/ci.yml, PHP 8.3/8.4/8.5): lint, smoke, settings-paths, assets-built, upgrade and docs-links guards.
  • .gitattributes (LF for text, binary marks for png/mo/zip).
  • Regenerated POT/PO/MO — 396 strings, 100 % for ru/zh/de.

Install

Upload contact-form-7-spam-checker-4.1.1.zip via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Requires WordPress 6.0+, PHP 8.3+, Contact Form 7 5.7+.
