26.10.7

• Migrated the Snap Store edge build from the legacy Qt5/core22 recipe to Qt6/core26,
  so it also includes the desktop portal file chooser, real home directory, and Wayland fixes
  (for #3791)
  • Fixed missing toolbar and other SVG icons in Qt6 Snaps by bundling the separately packaged
    SVG image and icon engine plugins, with packaging checks to ensure both are included
• Fixed the token for the QOwnNotes web application sometimes
  being replaced with a new one at application start, which caused other connected devices
  to go out of sync (for #3792)
  • If the token can't be read from the keychain (e.g. because it is still locked, not yet
    available or timed out), the stored token is now kept and the connection is retried later
  • The browser extension, MCP server and bookmark suggestion API tokens are also no longer
    replaced if they can't be read from the keychain
• The first release of QOwnNotes for Nextcloud,
  v26.10.1, is now available
  in the Nextcloud App Store
  (for #3793)
  • View and edit the notes of your note folder in the Nextcloud web interface, including note
    subfolders and the tags of the note folder's notes.sqlite, which are shared with
    QOwnNotes Desktop and Android
  • Markdown editor with syntax highlighting, search and replace, task toggling, note links
    and an optional live preview that scrolls together with the editor
  • Tag tree with hierarchy, colors and filters, note versions, deleted notes and conflict handling
  • Dashboard widget, unified search (also by tags), link previews and "Open in QOwnNotes"
    in the Files app
  • Provides the server APIs for QOwnNotes Desktop and Android, replacing the QOwnNotesAPI app
    and, for QOwnNotes Android, the Nextcloud Notes app
  • API-only mode to disable the web interface and only provide the APIs
