This is the first GitHub release of LocalYT, after having been developed for over 18 months with the help of various Large Language Models, such as Mistral Large 2, DeepSeek and GLM-4.5/4.7.

The releases will always contain a portable and fully set-up package that is ready to use (if you have FFmpeg and Node.js installed and added to PATH).
