RAWmakase 0.1.3
RAWmakase 0.1.3 makes switching between Fit and 100% smoother. The photo stays visible while you zoom or pan, and returning to a view can reuse its finished preview instead of stepping through lower-detail drafts.
Download: Mac Apple Silicon · Mac Intel · Debian / Ubuntu · Fedora · Arch Linux
Improved
- Switch between Fit and 100% with fewer visible jumps. When the photo and edits are unchanged, RAWmakase reuses the last finished view. Zooming in renders the full-detail region over the enlarged photo instead of first showing a separate reduced-detail region.
- Return to Fit without waiting on a blank background. After an edit at 100%, the previous whole-photo preview stays visible while the updated Fit preview is prepared.
Fixed
- The photo no longer shrinks into a small rectangle surrounded by black when zooming out. RAWmakase keeps the whole-photo preview behind the detailed region, so zooming and panning keep the image visible while the next region renders.
- Edits made at 100% no longer briefly disappear behind an older Fit preview. The worker no longer republishes that stale view before the updated render.
Requirements
Mac downloads require macOS 15+. Linux packages are for x86_64: Ubuntu 24.04+ or Debian 13+, Fedora 43+, or current Arch Linux. AUR publication remains paused; the Arch package is available directly above.
