Initial release

  • dvrpwned_131-v1.0.0.ips — custom DVRP firmware for DESR-5000/5100/7000/7100 (PSX1)
  • dvrpwned_211-v1.0.0.ips — custom DVRP firmware for DESR-5500/5700/7500/7700 (PSX2)

Due to the proprietary nature of the firmware, we can only distribute IPS patches.

Usage

  1. If possible, make sure to update to the final system update for your console (1.31 for PSX1, 2.11 for PSX2) before flashing
  2. Obtain the firmware update file from an HDD dump or your PSX HDD. SHA-256 hashes of valid firmware update files:
  • DVRP_FIRMWARE.udm from 1.31 — c4f1580693a26cd4fa57c0d284b37e639de92798db18431774663677a6f7b81c
  • DVRP_FIRMWARE.udm from 2.11 — a7137be2199c8dee9fb24c44d556310b999a8521949cdf655e7ba9d38ccdf407
  1. Apply the IPS patch to your firmware using your favorite IPS patcher or any Web-based patcher (for example, IPS ROM Patcher)
  2. Use the DVRP flasher to flash the patched firmware

Notes

  • On PSX HDD, you can find the firmware update file in hdd0:__system:pfs:/xosd/packages/dvrp_0
  • Do not use the DVRP_FIRMWARE_FC variant of the firmware.
