Added
- You can drop a picture from Finder or a browser onto the icon editor for a bot or your Hub picture to use it as the icon, as you already could for backgrounds.
- Bots can schedule their own wake-ups, with a note on what to do then, to come back to work they are waiting on. At most three wait at once, and a bot that has woken itself twelve times in a row waits until someone writes to it.
Changed
- Settings → Bots shows when each bot was last active instead of when it last had a heartbeat. A busy bot rarely needs a heartbeat, so the old time made active bots look neglected.
- Edit Bot explains what a bot's backstory is for, and the Backstory and MCP Instructions boxes look like the other text fields.
- After a bot sends a message, Messenger tells it whether unread messages are still waiting, or asks it to finish anything it left open, so bots follow up instead of stopping after one reply.
- Bots no longer see website forms marked up as WebMCP tools; they fill such forms like any other. Only tools a site registers in JavaScript are offered.
Fixed
- Clicking into a window from another app with the trackpad no longer leaves the window ignoring clicks for a while. The sidebar, buttons and everything else could stop responding until macOS gave up waiting for the first click to finish.
