First public release of Segue — broadcast audio playout for macOS.

Highlights

  • Playlist playback with automatic advance, crossfade (linear / equal-power), and per-track trim
  • Ramp timer: on-air countdown to a cue point for presenter talk-ups
  • Pause rows with looping bed music for live segments
  • Loudness normalisation to −23 dBFS RMS (EBU R128), applied automatically
  • Timestamped play log with CSV export for music licensing reports
  • Playlist auto-save and restore, JSON export/import, network drive (SMB/NAS) support

Installing

Unzip, drag Segue.app to Applications. First launch: right-click → Open (the app is not notarized; macOS asks once). See the README for details.

Requires macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later.
