Notryn 0.2.0-beta.1

First public beta of the local Markdown desktop app. Free to use under PolyForm Shield 1.0.0. No account, subscription or note telemetry.

• Linux x86_64: desktop package with terminal installation, updates, rollback and uninstall. Omarchy theme integration.
• macOS Intel and Apple silicon: experimental packages, ad-hoc signed, not Apple-notarized. macOS may block them. Do not disable Gatekeeper. Native CI validates the package lifecycle; broader physical-device testing remains pending.
• Windows and Linux ARM: no package yet.
• Real app demo, clearer folders, glass selection colors and smoother connection focus.
• Fixes an intermittent startup failure when the randomly generated server instance ID starts with a hyphen.
• Beta updates follow newer preview releases and then stable releases. Notes and settings remain separate from app updates.

Save and quit before updating. Keep your own note backups. This is testing software; there is no cloud sync or integrated AI model. The index currently supports up to 2,000 notes, up to 1 MB each.

Downloads are on GitHub Releases. Package SHA-256 values are verified against GitHub; this is integrity checking, not independent publisher signing.
