Hushfall: at night, a blind creature hunts by sound.

What's new in 1.4.0

• The Listener Pup: every 5th time the Listener dies, it also drops a Golden Ear. Craft it with 2 Listener's Ears and an egg into a Pup Egg: a blind pet that finds ores by listening to the echo.
  • Show it an ore and it searches for another one of the same kind within 64 blocks. It taps the ground, listens and leads you there.
  • When it gets there, it echoes and sits to mark the spot. A high echo means shallow, a low echo means deep.
  • 10 searches per pup (pupSearches in the config). It won't search while the Listener is awake. If it gets badly hurt, it runs off and comes back the next morning.
• Killing the Listener ends the night: the noise meter fades away and there is no noise for the rest of that night.
• Fire counts as an attack: setting the Listener on fire (or luring it into lava) makes it hunt the nearest player, even if you're quiet.

• Filhote do Ouvinte: a cada 5 mortes do Ouvinte cai também uma Orelha de Ouro. Com ela, 2 Orelhas do Ouvinte e um ovo, você faz o Ovo do Filhote: um pet cego que acha minérios ouvindo o eco.
  • Mostre um minério e ele procura outro igual num raio de 64 blocos. Ele bate no chão, escuta e te leva até lá.
  • Chegando lá, ele dá o eco e senta marcando o lugar. Eco agudo é raso, grave é fundo.
  • São 10 buscas por filhote (pupSearches na config). Com o Ouvinte acordado ele não procura. Se a vida dele acabar, ele foge e volta na manhã seguinte.
• Matar o Ouvinte encerra a noite: o medidor some aos poucos e não há ruído pelo resto daquela noite.
• Fogo conta como ataque: botar fogo no Ouvinte (ou atraí-lo para a lava) faz ele caçar o jogador mais perto, mesmo em silêncio.

What's new in 1.3.0

• No escape by logging out: your noise meter is saved with you. Leave the world in the middle of a chase and you come back loud, so the Listener roars and hunts you again. If the player it was chasing leaves, it goes to sniff where they vanished.
• It remembers: the Listener now saves what it was doing (hunting, investigating, prowling, stunned) when the world is saved, and its memory of false alarms survives when it burrows and resurfaces.
• Boats and minecarts make noise: boats +3/s, minecarts +8/s (as loud as running).
• Noise meter settings (with Mod Menu, optional): pick the corner, margins and size of the meter, and hide the text next to it. The meter shows up live while you adjust it. Also in config/silenciototal-client.json.
• The mod is now called Hushfall in the game's mod list, in English and Portuguese.

Which file?

• hushfall.jar: just the mod. You also need Fabric API.
• hushfall.zip (GitHub only): the mod + Fabric API + instructions. Unzip it and copy the .jar files into the mods folder.

How to install

1. Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 26.3 (official installer).
2. Put the .jar files in the mods folder (delete older Hushfall versions first).
3. Launch the game with the Fabric profile.

• Sair do mundo não salva ninguém: a sua barra de ruído fica salva com você. Se você sair no meio de uma caçada, volta fazendo barulho alto, e o Ouvinte ruge e caça de novo. Se quem ele caçava sai, ele vai farejar onde a pessoa sumiu.
• Ele lembra: o Ouvinte agora salva o que estava fazendo (caçando, investigando, rondando, atordoado) quando o mundo é salvo, e a memória dos alarmes falsos continua depois que ele se enterra e ressurge.
• Barco e carrinho de mina fazem barulho: barco +3/s, carrinho +8/s (tanto quanto correr).
• Opções do medidor (com o Mod Menu, opcional): escolha o canto, as margens e o tamanho do medidor, e esconda o texto ao lado. O medidor aparece na tela enquanto você ajusta. Também em config/silenciototal-client.json.
• O mod agora se chama Hushfall na lista de mods do jogo, em inglês e português.
