v2.2.0 - Activity-Aware Health Thresholds & Configurable Transport
What's New
Activity-Aware Health Thresholds
- Personal monitors now use 300-second (5 min) threshold — appropriate for sparse amateur radio activity
- Global monitors keep 60-second threshold — high message volume expected
- Eliminates ~2,000 false "unhealthy" toggles that occurred with the old 60s threshold
Granular Feed Status
New states provide better insight into feed health:
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Healthy | Data flowing normally |
| Low Activity | 180-300s since last message (normal during poor propagation) |
| Stale | No data beyond threshold |
| Disconnected | MQTT connection lost |
Configurable Transport Mode
Choose your connection method in integration options:
| Transport | Port | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| WebSocket + TLS | 1886 | Default, most firewall-friendly |
| TCP + TLS | 1884 | Good alternative |
| WebSocket | 1885 | If TLS issues |
| TCP plain | 1883 | Not recommended |
Other Improvements
- Transport mode and port now visible in
connection_statussensor attributes - Updated documentation with v2.2.0 features
- Fixed mqtt.pskreporter.info documentation links
