A fresh attempt at the MediaPad M5 startup break-up — this time guaranteed not to affect sync, because it does not touch the audio capture path at all.

What it does

The decoded-speech playback buffer (RX) is now pre-filled with ~300 ms of silence at start, giving the audio output a cushion to play through the CPU-heavy startup / post-TX window while decoding catches up. The transmit path already does this; the receive path never did. Output-side only.

Why this should help where the others didn't

The "break-up" is the playback buffer running empty during the cold-CPU window (decode + neural vocoder can't fill it fast enough until the phone warms up). The cushion absorbs that. It costs ~300 ms of extra received-audio delay — negligible for a receiver.

Important

• ✅ Cannot break sync — no change to the microphone/capture path.
• ⚠️ Pre-release / needs testing — not yet confirmed on the MediaPad M5.
• 🛟 If anything is wrong, v1.5.9 is still the stable "Latest" release — just install that to roll back.
