Public release for the core-1 v16.1.0 upgrade activated at block 29,376,200 on 24 September 2026.
- Includes the v16.1.0 upgrade handler and module migrations.
- Uses public CosmWasm dependencies: wasmd v0.60.9 and wasmvm v2.3.5.
- Removes dependency references to the private security repositories.
Nodes already running the privately distributed v16.1.0 binary do not need another coordinated upgrade for this publication.
The downloadable binaries and Docker images are rebuilt from this public tag using the public CosmWasm dependencies. Their checksums will differ from the privately distributed September binary. Use the accompanying sha256sum.txt to verify the public downloads.
