First public release of iDictate — an open-source voice dictation & AI assistant for Android phones and Wear OS smartwatches.

Features

• Voice dictation from phone or Wear OS watch
• Speech-to-text via OpenAI Whisper / gpt-4o-transcribe (or the built-in Android engine)
• AI summaries & action items with Anthropic Claude
• On-device SQLCipher-encrypted storage — no account, no tracking

Downloads (sideload)

• iDictate-phone-v1.0.0.apk — Android phone app (API 26+)
• iDictate-watch-v1.0.0.apk — Wear OS watch app (API 30+)

These are debug-signed builds for sideloading. You bring your own OpenAI / Anthropic API key.
To install, enable "Install unknown apps" on your device, then open the APK.
