Username & Password ISSUE..!! | People facing issue, Here's the Solution

This is an easy fix tbh, but not much info about it. Other than this : #205

So, once after the first setup, as you followed the instructions
Open the docker container logs for odysseus in the docker desktop application.

Navigate to: ⤵︎

verify the above image and select the odysseus to view the Log's,

once inside the log section just ctrl+f to find, and type this : Temporary password

TLDR, Open logs for odysseus in Docker container and find: Temporary password

Good catch but that applies to Docker only, right?

currently running it on Docker so yeah, This fix is for Docker only,

But try to check logs as password is generated when you run the setup.py

not sure, but i still got that auth.json exists, then no temporary password or anything...

1. you dont have to do any of that just follow the DOCKER step that i have given

I am using EndeavourOS Linux (based on Arch Linux), and after getting the temporary password using the below command.

sudo docker compose logs odysseus | grep pass

LOG:

odysseus-1  |         Temporary password: 4GM-p-W_dp-WO7-26nMdj8Yq

I tried to fill these credentials, but I am getting invalid credentials error.

what was the username you used, it must be 'admin'.

using admin worked, thanks a lot!! That was stupid of me.
