v0.12.1
- Changed
noteto check each prose draft for a missing section, or one that is empty or just "Not addressed in this session", and to draft again up toSOAPCAP_NOTE_ATTEMPTStimes (default 3), keeping the draft with the fewest faults and warning when it is still incomplete. - Changed that check to count only a missing section for a transcript under 150 words, and to give a transcript with no client lines a single draft.
- Changed Ollama's prose drafts to use the same sampling settings as Bonsai's (temperature 0.7, top-p 0.8, top-k 20) in place of the model's defaults.
v0.12.0
- Changed
noteto check each prose draft for a missing section, or one that is empty or just "Not addressed in this session", and to draft again up toSOAPCAP_NOTE_ATTEMPTStimes (default 3), keeping the draft with the fewest faults and warning when it is still incomplete. - Changed that check to count only a missing section for a transcript under 150 words, and to give a transcript with no client lines a single draft.
v0.11.0
- Fixed a stop (Ctrl-C or
kill) while paused leaving the transcript in$TMPDIRand discarding the session; it now stops and keeps what was recorded, and the recording timer carries on after a pause. - Changed
sessionto check the note model before recording starts, and to offer a retry, another model, or a copy of the transcript when a draft fails. - Changed
sessionto ask less: one question for whether and in which format to draft (yourSOAPCAP_FORMATfirst), no model question up front, andSOAPCAP_SESSION_*entries inconfig.shthat answer its yes/no questions ahead of time. - Changed the draft prompt to
copy to clipboard / regenerate / try <other model> / discard, with the model kept loaded between drafts, and a transcript or note taller than the window paged instead of scrolling away. - Changed Ollama notes to use one context size for every pass and a 2000-token output cap, and to warn when
--hostpoints at another machine. - Fixed
session's de-identify pass over the drafted note skipping any text before a colon.
v0.10.1
- Replaced the Swift de-identify helper with a Python one that doesn't need Xcode or an existing Python; set it up with
tools/deidentify/install.sh. - Changed de-identify so it no longer redacts clock times.
- Added an ASCII-art title at the start of
session.
v0.10.0
- Replaced the Swift de-identify helper with a Python one that doesn't need Xcode or an existing Python; set it up with
tools/deidentify/install.sh. - Changed de-identify so it no longer redacts clock times.
- Added an ASCII-art title at the start of
session.
v0.9.0
- Moved the experimental window app out of this repository; it is now the seed of a separate Swift rewrite, which is in development.
- Shortened the README and moved detail into
docs/(notes, setup, capture). - Stated what
sessionoffers to save: de-identified transcripts only, except the troubleshooting save when a SOAP draft has no Subjective. - Moved the cloud hand-off roadmap item to the de-identify helper's README and dropped the audio-recording item.
- Split
lib/commands.shinto one file per command, with no behavior change.
v0.8.5
- Changed the note format to a therapist's SOAP layout, with a mental-status Objective section, a session line, and saved transcripts.
- Added a choice of note model in session, and a model command that lists pulled models.
- Added a drafting status with a live token count, swap, and persistent lines in session.
- Added a clipboard hint in session, an offer to save the transcript when Subjective is missing, and a warning for over-long transcripts.
- Changed the note and transcript to wrap to the terminal's width on screen only.
v0.7.0
v0.6.0
- Added Bonsai as a second tested note model and trimmed the model picker to two options.
- Added a fictional sample-transcript corpus with a guide to each transcript.
- Changed the transcript ignore rule so that only samples/transcripts is exempted from *.transcript, which tracks the sample transcripts.
v0.5.1
- Changed the soap.md prompt: it now states a positive default for unestablished pronouns, treats the Objective fallback rule as an explicit decision gate, no longer quotes the Objective rule's example phrases, and requires continuous prose with no lists in every section.
- Ported the four soap.md prompt fixes to dap.md and birp.md.
- Added month-name and long-number regex rules to deidentify-helper.
- Updated the soapcap-update.icns icon, added an app SwiftUI preview, and ignored Xcode workspace state.
