A repeat upload no longer deletes the file it already delivered — and failure messages now speak your language.

  • Re-uploading something that had already finished could destroy it. When a
transfer was retried after it had actually completed — the Retry button, or a
retry the app made on its own — the console deleted the finished file and then
reported direct_rename_failed. Every further retry repeated the deletion, so
the file you had successfully uploaded simply vanished and the queue sat at
0 B. Committing the same transfer twice is now harmless: if the file is
already in place at the right size, that is treated as success and nothing is
touched. Nothing deletes a destination any more until there is a verified
replacement ready to take its place.

This was reproduced on a real console before and after the fix — old build:
file gone; fixed build: file intact.

  • Transfer and install failure messages are translated. These messages —
out of space, drive disconnected, path refused, transfer interrupted — were
English-only in every language, which is the worst moment to be handed a
language you may not read. All of them are now available in the app's 19
    languages.

  • Clearer wording when there is genuinely nothing to publish. The old
message blamed a rename and printed an empty path. It now says what actually
happened and what to do: upload again and choose Override rather than Resume.
