Cheats tell you what they are and when they fire, and the power controls are
on the home screen.
Cheats
-
Downloaded cheats show the game's name, with the title ID underneath —
including games you do not have installed, which is exactly when a bare ID is
least helpful. -
The console tells you when a cheat takes. Turn one on while you are
playing and a notification appears on the PS5 naming the cheat. You also get
one when a game starts with cheats already enabled. -
Filter the collection by cheat format, by the game version a cheat was
written for, and by "only my games" — which turns thousands of entries into
your shelf.
Power
-
Power controls are on the home dashboard, not just at the bottom of
Manage connections. -
Wake a sleeping console. If ps5upload has seen your PS5 before, it can
wake it from rest mode. This needs "Enable Turning On PS5 from Network"
switched on in the console's power settings — the app tells you so if nothing
happens.
Thanks to @realgooseman for both suggestions.
