v5.31.2
Pre-release
Pre-release
Honest status for installs we can't confirm, and the payload finally gets
its own name on the console.
- Your payload really does have its own name now. 5.31.0 said this was
done. It wasn't — checked on a real console, ps5upload was still listed as
the genericpayload.elf. Only one of its ~16 threads had been renamed, and
the console shows whichever thread it feels like. All of them are named now,
and it readsps5upload.elf. This also repairs the cleanup that reuses that
name: ps5upload can once again spot and clear a stuck copy of itself on
reconnect, while leaving other homebrew on the console alone. - An install we can't confirm no longer says "Cancelled". Nothing was
cancelled — the PS5 took the package and is very likely still installing it.
Those rows now say Unverified, in every language. - The Recheck button now appears when you need it. If a console was busy
transferring something else, the automatic re-check politely waited its turn
— forever — and the row never offered you the manual Recheck. It now hands
the row over on time. - No more "ps5upload keeps checking" when it can't. For a package with
nothing to identify it by, that message appeared next to a row that had just
closed. It now says what's actually true. - Verified on real hardware: a 101 GB PS5 game and an 80 GB PS4 game with its
patch, both installed end to end at around 100 MB/s.
