- Convert reads more Kraken-compressed PS5 packages (#493). Some packages stopped Convert
with "kraken: chunk too short": Sony stores long runs of zeros as a tiny chunk of a kind the
converter didn't read. Those chunks decode now. If a package still fails, the error names the
block's sizes so we can tell what it is. - LZ4 images of Unreal Engine games launch. Converting an Unreal Engine game to an LZ4 image
packed its project file, which the game can't read from there, so it quit at start. Unreal
games now compress only their big data files and keep everything else as normal files. - Game images from archives. "Make compressed image" was always greyed out for a .rar, .7z
or .zip source, and the queue only said "Skipped: 1". Convert now unpacks the archive first
and names the image after it; anything skipped says why. - Removing the PS5Upload Minion tile leaves no grey icon (#480). Removal now checks the
console's home screen data and only deletes the tile's files once its icon is really gone,
retrying and, as a last resort, hiding the icon. A tile you delete on the PS5 itself no longer
comes back when the helper restarts. Update the helper for this fix. - ○ on the first screen leaves PS5Upload Minion. Pressing ○ on Home right after opening the
page now returns to the PS5 home screen. - Builds use patched Node. The app is built with Node releases that include the October 2026
security fixes. No released app or image contains Node.
