  • Security: a password-protected event's title, dates, cost and venue could be read by anyone through /blockendar/v1/events/{id} and /blockendar/v1/events/{id}/instances. Both now answer 404 unless the reader can edit the event.
  • Security: the WordPress REST routes for events no longer return a password-protected event's dates, cost, registration URL, or its venue, type and tag assignments, unless the reader can edit it.
  • Security: turning off Public REST endpoints now also requires a login on the WordPress routes for events, venues, event types and event tags (/wp/v2/blockendar-events, /wp/v2/event-venues, /wp/v2/event-types, /wp/v2/event-tags). Before, only the /blockendar/v1 routes were covered.
  • Fixed: with Public REST endpoints off, the calendar block showed no events to logged-in visitors.
