Fix bug with multiple lines with comments
In this case:
74 68 69 73 20 69 73 20 61 20 74 65 73 74 /* This is a comment */
74 68 69 73 20 69 73 20 61 20 74 65 73 74 /* This is a comment */
The input would be repeated because I wasn't resetting the string builder between comments.
Add version and help message
- Improved the usage message so now it prints out the defaults and gives some example uses.
- Added a version flag so you can print out which version of the executable.
Add warning if hex contains `0a`
This release adds one new feature. If the hex input contains 0a byte, hex2raw prints out a warning message. The 0a byte is a newline character which causes problems in the attack lab's Gets function. It interprets the newline as terminating the input. If students have trouble even with the warning, I will consider making it an error instead of a warning.
