Cannot connect PhotoSync to a WebDAV server via http on a non standard port

I'm trying to connect PhotoSync on iOS to a local, private WebDAV server. The connection details are:

Server: 10.0.0.199
Port: 10080
Login:
Password:
Directory:
SSL: disabled

I always get an error that it can't login to the server. PhotoSync on Android always works with the exact same details, and I can log into the server via a web browser, so I know the connection details are connect.

Are there any restrictions on the iOS app for connecting without SSL or when using a non standard port?

I'm not convinced the app's connection attempt is getting the server. There's no indication in the logs of any connection attempt. Is it possible that the iOS app isn't respecting the non standard port number?

It's common for apps to refuse WebDAV connections without HTTPS, since that would send your password in clear text over the network. Isn't there a way for you to encrypt the connection?

There might be a way but PhoroSync on iOS is the only one that doesn't work. So I'm confused, as it used to work when I last tried it a while ago. I've since removed the app and reinstalled it.

I deleted the app and its data. I reinstalled the app and it works now. Odd!

Very strange - I didn't believe this would solve my issue - I was able to connect with PhotoSync via Mobile, but not via WiFi in internal network. Only by deleting the app an re-connect I'm now able to connect in both (public / local) szenarios.
