  • ✨ Added Task.resetTimeout(), so a worker that reports progress can restart its task's taskTimeoutMillis while the task advances. Timeouts now reject with the exported TaskTimeoutError.
  • ✨ BatchProcess.end() now resolves only after the child exits, and rejects if the child is still running 5 seconds after termination. context.end() in taskData listeners returns the same promise. BatchCluster.end() rejects, and doesn't emit end, while a child it spawned is still running. A child keeps its maxProcs slot until it exits.
  • 🐞 A task rejected while queued is removed from the queue and never executed.
