There were to problems. Changes committed to the 6.4 branch were not mergeable into master and there was the refactor PR you asked me to close. This PR here covers the first case. I'll open another PR for the refactor stuff. |

Does not include the parameter name check which I plan to keep out of the visitor. Other than that, this pull request adds everything that could not be merged into the master from the 6.4 branch.
