Hi,
First of all, thank you for this incredible tool. FrankenPHP is a game-changer for the PHP ecosystem in modern cloud environments.
I noticed that FrankenPHP is not yet listed in the CNCF Landscape. Since it's built on top of Caddy (Go), features native OpenTelemetry/Prometheus support, and is fully designed for Kubernetes deployments, it fits perfectly into the Cloud Native ecosystem.
I believe getting FrankenPHP listed in the Landscape would bring several key benefits:
- DevOps & Architect Visibility: The CNCF Landscape is a primary resource used by Cloud Architects and Platform Engineers to discover tools. Listing FrankenPHP would put it directly on their radar.
- Breaking PHP Prejudices: It visually proves to the wider infrastructure community (often dominated by Go/Rust/Node) that modern PHP has enterprise-grade, cloud-native runtimes.
- SEO and Credibility: It provides high-quality backlink authority and officially categorizes FrankenPHP alongside top-tier modern web servers and runtimes.
- 100% Risk-Free: Since it's a non-hosted project, FrankenPHP remains entirely under the PHP Foundation. There is absolutely no trademark, code, or asset transfer required. It is purely for indexing and discoverability.
Adding it only requires a quick Pull Request to the cncf/landscape repository with a snippet in their landscape.yml.
Would you be open to adding it? If you want, I would be more than happy to prepare the YAML snippet and open the PR on the CNCF side on your behalf, or let you handle it if you prefer a specific category (like Application Definition or Runtime).
Thanks again for your amazing work!
