Unknown column in order clause after renaming table

I renamed a table and now I can't browse it anymore.. unknown column in order clause, the order clause is still referring to the old table name (and it's stored in pMA DB).

I just ran into the same issue. I had the browse table sorted by a column, I needed to rename that column, but then when I try to go back to browse, I get the error "#1054 - Unknown column 'column_name' in 'order clause'".

I couldn't browse that table to remove that sort from the column. I had to rename the column back to its original name in order to remove the sort.

This issue is solved in version 4.8.4.

If any one face this here is how we solve it:

1- at the sidebar of phpmyadmin, locate the table then expend it by clicking the + sign
2- locate the column name and click on it
3- rename the column to something (you can add a letter/character to it) then save
4- rename the column back to its original name

That's it ;)
