Kaleta 3.10 makes Claude connections lighter, adds regional language versions, and makes updates harder to tamper with.

Claude: an Essentials tool set

  • New Claude connections can list only the essentials: 36 tools in about 49 KB instead of all 136 tools in about 155 KB. Conversations start faster and leave more room for your work.
  • Claude finds every other tool with find_tools and runs it through one of three runners, each labelled honestly for what it can do:
    • run_read_tool for reads that stay inside the site;
    • run_tool for drafts and changes that do not remove, send or reach outside the site;
    • run_destructive_tool for anything that removes, sends or reaches outside the site – Claude is told to confirm the exact action with you first.
  • The same access level, guardrails, change log and session undo apply as for a direct call. A read-only connection lists only the read runner.
  • The consent screen asks which tools to list (Essentials is preselected). Personal tokens default to all tools. Switch any connection in My account.
  • Existing connections keep all tools – nothing changes until you switch. A token refresh never changes the tool set.
  • In My account, pressing Enter in the token name now creates the token.

Languages

  • Regional language versions: British English, Austrian German, Brazilian Portuguese and Traditional Chinese. Addresses use lowercase (/pt-br/), search engines get pt-BR in hreflang and lang. A regional version uses the texts and number format of its base language.
  • Imports keep a regional language, unless the site already has that language without the region (an en_GB export into an English site stays English).

Time

  • System status checks the clock: it warns when the site's time zone, PHP and the database count time differently (scheduled publishing would drift).
  • Changing the time zone now says that dates already saved keep their clock time.

Updates (security hardening)

  • A site refuses update information older than what it already received from the same source, and only accepts information for its own channel (Latest or Stable). A host or mirror replaying an old or wrong-channel file can no longer freeze or roll back updates – the admin shows a clear error instead of "up to date".
  • Update information dated in the future is not remembered and is reported in System status.
  • System status warns when the newest update information is more than 60 days old, and says how long update checks have been failing.
  • Settings → Backups and updates can forget the remembered update information once the update source is right again.
  • Pre-release builds of 3.9.0 now need the full manifest signature (v2).

For developers

  • Add-ons and new code can use English table names ({news} for the news table, {pages} for pages); changes made that way are part of the session undo. The physical tables keep their names – see system/sql/names.php and docs/EXTENSIONS.md.
  • Core\Clock gives "now" in the site's time; it returns the same values as before.

Updating

Update from Settings → Backups and updates. One small database change (the tool set of Claude connections). Existing Claude connections keep working unchanged.
