Every article of the Kaleta guide, by topic. Also in Czech and German.
- Install Kaleta – Upload the files, open the installer, pick a starter site and the extensions you need. Ten minutes later you are editing.
- First steps in the admin – The Dashboard walks you through the five things every new site needs: appearance, company details, pages, privacy policy and e-mail.
- Extensions – News, forms, newsletter, statistics, redirects, language versions, the AI assistant and the Claude connection are built in. You decide what is on.
- Page builder basics – The canvas is the real page. Add elements and ready-made sections, move them by dragging, edit text in place and publish when you are ready.
- Styling and responsive design – Set layout, spacing, typography and background per element – separately for desktop, tablet and mobile, and for hover and press.
- Elements and ready-made sections – Beyond headings, text and images: galleries, tabs, accordions, carousels, maps, pop-ups, counters, countdowns and more – plus display conditions.
- Pages: settings, trash and copies – Every page has its own search-engine title, sharing image and visibility. Deleted pages wait 30 days in the trash; duplicates copy the whole build.
- Site appearance and design tokens – Styles, colours, dark mode, fonts, sizes and corner radius for the whole site at once – in tabs, with a live preview and a WCAG contrast check.
- Shared classes – Give elements a class like “card” and style the class once. Every element with that class across the site follows.
- Components – Save a block you use in several places as a component. Edit it once and every page follows; properties let each use differ.
- Header, footer and wrappers – Build the header and footer in the builder, add variants for selected pages, and wrap the news item, news list and 404 page in your own sections.
- Pop-ups – Build a newsletter sign-up, a download, an announcement bar or an offer as a pop-up for the whole site – with a trigger, rules, a frequency and cookie-free results.
- Menus – Build the main menu and the footer menu from pages, custom links, news and groups, with one submenu level.
- Collections: fields and items – Testimonials, team, products, branches, a price list – or a documentation section like this one. Define the fields once, then add items.
- Collection lists and item pages – Show items anywhere with the Collection list element, design the item page in the builder, and give item pages their own SEO, scheduling, history and structured data.
- Site search – The Search element finds pages, collection item pages and news – regardless of accents and letter case, with a snippet of the matching text.
- News: the company blog – Categories, tags, scheduled publishing, version history and a trash – with SEO that takes care of itself.
- Forms and enquiries – Add an enquiry form in the builder. Messages land in Enquiries and your inbox; spam is stopped without CAPTCHA or cookies.
- Newsletter: sign-ups and sending – Collect confirmed e-mail addresses with double opt-in, send them your latest news in an e-mail styled by your design system – or pass them to Brevo, MailerLite, Mailchimp, Ecomail, SmartEmailing or any service via a webhook.
- Company details and opening hours – Enter your company details once. The Company details element shows them on the site and search engines get them as structured data.
- SEO and AI search – Sitemap, canonical addresses, structured data, redirects and llms.txt are automatic; the site audit shows what to fix, and Settings → SEO and GEO covers the rest.
- Language versions – Run the site in around forty languages: each language version has its own pages, categories and news at /en/, /de/…, with a language switcher, hreflang and system addresses in the site language.
- Connect Claude over MCP – Switch on the Claude connection, add your site as a connector in the Claude app or in Claude Code, and approve access on your own site.
- What Claude can do on your site – Claude builds pages, the header and footer, sets the look and writes news with your permissions. Builds arrive as drafts with a signed preview link.
- AI assistant – Create sections from a description and rewrite text in the builder; get headlines, SEO descriptions, proofreading and translations in news.
- Users, roles and sign-in security – Administrators, editors and news authors – plus custom roles with a chosen set of sections, two-factor sign-in and passkeys.
- Move from WordPress – Upload a WordPress export: posts become news, pages can go straight into the builder, images move to Media and old addresses redirect.
- Backups, updates and site export – Daily automatic backups when something changed, off-server copies of the database and the media over FTPS or S3, signed updates, and moving a whole site to another Kaleta installation.
