This page contains a file by file description of each file in order by level in the repository. Each file description will represent three files, each with the following extensions, .SLDPRT/.SLDASM, these are Solidworks part and assembly files and the files in which all of the parts will be modeled (this is where the work gets done), *.STL, or the STereoLithography format, this is the type of 3D model that GitHub supports and is used mostly for the purpose of tracking changes within the repository, *.3mf, 3D Manufacturing Format has been included in order to cover all of the bases (It's baked into Windows and hobbyist are more than welcome to provide feedback on this project and even the most non-technical hobbyist can use the Windows 10 3D builder and give us great feedback if they were to print these files(don't print yet, it's way too early!)).

## Camera One .SLDASM, .STL, .3MF

A Solidworks Assembly file, this file shows the camera modeled in a 100% assembled view. Because there will be thousands of eventual configurations this file will not always be the only assembly file in the repository, but until the project reaches v1.0, meaning an assembly that has met all of the initial design goals and is ready for manufacturing, I feel that it would be helpful if everyone was working from the same assembly.

# /Camera-One/Camera One/Base/

Base .SLDPRT, .STL, .3MF

A part file, this is the internal skeleton of the camera, it allows for mounting and communication passage between modules. Communication can come in many forms, such as electrical wiring, pneumatic tubing, mechanical gearing, etc. Please keep this in mind when editing this model.

# /Camera-One/Camera One/Lens and Shutters/Packard Shutter/

M42Mount-Packard .SLDASM, .STL, .3MF

A Solidworks Assembly file, this file contains a lens module assembly. This lens module is fitted with a standard M42 lens mounting system with manual focus support only, a simple shutter design based on the 2 leaf Packard design and a pneumatic firing system with Bulb and/or Time mode(s). This module falls in line with v1.0 spec and should be completed before any other lens module design is attempted.

# /Camera-One/Camera One/Lens and Shutters/Packard Shutter/Components/

Leaf .SLDPRT, .STL, .3MF

A Solidworks part file, the "leaf" or "blade" of the shutter is the moving part the blocks the light from entering the camera when the shutter is in the closed position.

# /Camera-One/Camera One/Module/ ### /Bottom Module/ : /Left Hand Module/ : /Rear Module/ : /Right Hand Module/ : /Top Module/ Camera One is designed so that the top right-hand corner is twice as round as all other corners this adds not only a beautiful aesthetic but also solves some trivial issues, for instance this allows you to orientate the camera quickly if there are no other signals in sight or currently mounted on the Base, also since only one of the corners are rounded the Top, Bottom, Left-Hand and Right-Hand Modules can only be inserted in there respective places due to size constraints, though they can be oriented different ways within those locations. This also gives a visual que for the orientation of the Rear Module.
