Cara v0.2.2

Cara 0.2.2 completes the pinned Codex Windows runtime, restores code-mode companion tools, and adds explicit per-workspace execution and model-advertised Speed controls.

The default remains read-only. Workspace write access requires operator-selected workspace/output and installed-skills directories. Existing AnythingLLM/Cara storage is reused in place.

Verify the Windows installer against the attached SHA-256 before installation.

Correction

• Accepts codex-subscription in the normal workspace agent setup path.
• Resolves the configured Codex subscription model when a workspace has no separate agent-model override.
• Retains rejection of unknown agent providers.
• Does not alter Cara's private Codex profile or the preserved AnythingLLM storage location.

Acceptance

• The regression exercises EphemeralAgentHandler.init() with the production workspace provider and model shape.
• 60 test suites and 788 tests passed.
• Server, frontend, and collector lint passed.
• The production frontend build passed.

The first versioned workflow attempt was cancelled by its 90-minute limit during an intermittent collector dependency post-install. The clean retry completed successfully without a source change.

Cara v0.1.0

First tested Cara desktop build. Includes hardened LocalAI and LM Studio providers, opt-in LM Studio gpt-oss Harmony tool calling, complete local Windows runtime packaging, and in-place reuse of existing AnythingLLM Desktop storage. No cloud fallback. Verify the installer with the attached SHA-256 file before installation.
