The FLASH command in previous versions has a defect and won't detect this release as a valid UF2. This version must be installed using the BOOTSEL button and a USB cable – see README.

The biggest change in this release is the addition of a RetroArch (libretro) core. This core supports save states and netplay, but that aspect hasn't yet been well tested. I am submitting this to be included in the RetroArch menu – install manually until that happens.

Some new scripting commands have been added to the desktop emulator to assist with testing. You can install and load ROMS, start and stop the machine, change memory, and control save states.

NOTE: the Pico build says "Sep 12 2026 19:42" instead of 0.33 in this release. Massive changes were made to the build system for libretro and setting the version only happens on release so it wasn't tested. This is only cosmetic and will be fixed in 0.34.
