key home and key back are read back from Android's own state (dumpsys), never from screen text or the UI
tree: home is ✓ when the launcher is in the foreground; back is ✓ when another app or another activity of the
app comes to the front, both known before and after (a ticking counter, a clock or a tree that becomes readable is
no proof). Otherwise ~ says what was seen: same app and activity (nothing to go back to, ignored, or a page
inside the activity, not compared). Nothing is read through accessibility, so protected apps stay untouched.
Text first after a gesture that cannot be read back (~, such as a tap): the image is joined when the final screen
is the one read during that step, before its gesture (nothing changed), or when that step read nothing; a changed
screen shows the effect in the list. A failed step (✗) or a lost link (?) still joins the image.
