MobileClaw is a notification-driven Android research prototype with shared local context and user-confirmed actions. These packages accompany the ACM MobiCom 2026 demonstration.

Downloads

  • MobileClaw-0.1.apk — Android 16+ recommended; Android 8.0+ minimum. For arm64-v8a phones and x86_64 emulators.
  • TaskBoard-0.1.apk — optional companion for the Android 16+ AppFunctions demonstration.
  • SHA256SUMS — SHA-256 checksums for both APKs.
  • build-manifest.json — build commit, package details and signing certificate.

Both APKs are signed, non-debuggable builds. Provider presets are available on first launch, with no model credentials or private endpoints bundled. Choose a service and enter your own connection settings. The standard package includes text, OCR and image-label search. It omits the optional MobileCLIP similarity weights and does not bundle an agent LLM or inference engine.

Android installation

We recommend Android 16+ for MobileClaw; Android 8.0+ is the minimum supported version. The TaskBoard AppFunctions demonstration requires Android 16+.

If Android reports "Restricted setting" while enabling access for the downloaded APK, open Android Settings > Apps > MobileClaw > More > Allow restricted settings, then retry the permission. Follow Google's guidance; wording and availability vary by Android version and device policy.
