@pjampjam pjampjam released this 04 Oct 21:25

Holy Lois launcher 1.2.5. Installed apps update themselves when reopened; new players download HolyLoisReborn.exe from https://holylois.com.

  • Greener Play button. When everything is ready, Play is now a stronger green.
  • Bigger crown icon. The launcher and the Minecraft window use a larger crown that fills the whole icon.
  • Includes pack 1.7.9 (client only, no server restart).

The app has no Windows publisher certificate, so SmartScreen may show Unknown publisher. A local Defender scan found no threats; that is not a guarantee for other PCs.

Holy Lois launcher 1.2.4. Installed apps update themselves when reopened; new players download HolyLoisReborn.exe from https://holylois.com.

  • Play keeps you on the pack. Pressing Play moves extra mods out of the Holy Lois folder (kept in a quarantine folder, never deleted), repairs changed pack files and switches the pack resource packs back on. Shaders, options and keybinds are not touched.
  • New crown icons. The launcher and the Minecraft window use the new Holy Lois crown, crisp at every size.
  • Includes pack 1.7.8: the server only lets the Holy Lois pack in, a sharp window icon and clearer dungeon achievements.

The app has no Windows publisher certificate, so SmartScreen may show Unknown publisher. A local Defender scan found no threats; that is not a guarantee for other PCs.

Holy Lois launcher 1.2.3. Installed apps update themselves when reopened; new players download HolyLoisReborn.exe from https://holylois.com.

  • Updates are hard to miss. The newest update now sits in a card at the top. When one is waiting, the card turns gold and has an Update now button, so there is no need to click Check files.
  • Easier to read changelog. What changed is now one card per version, with Added, Updated and Removed lists.
  • Includes pack 1.7.5: boombox volume and new stations, a smarter R key and tool swaps, /home picks your main home, portals that bring you back and a bigger world.

The app has no Windows publisher certificate, so SmartScreen may show Unknown publisher. A local Defender scan found no threats; that is not a guarantee for other PCs.

Holy Lois launcher 1.2.2. Installed apps update themselves when reopened; new players download HolyLoisReborn.exe from https://holylois.com.

  • No more "An existing installation differs" message. A freshly downloaded copy now hands over to your installed Holy Lois, which updates itself, or repairs a damaged installation automatically.
  • Includes pack 1.7.1: chests open cleanly again with or without shaders.

The app has no Windows publisher certificate, so SmartScreen may show Unknown publisher. A local Defender scan found no threats; that is not a guarantee for other PCs.

Holy Lois launcher 1.2.1. Installed apps update themselves when reopened; new players download HolyLoisReborn.exe below.

  • New address: play.holylois.com. Your saved server is updated automatically. Discord and Website buttons sit under it.
  • Live server status under the address: green when online with the player count, gold while restarting, red when offline. Hover it to see who is online.
  • How to play lists the current commands and every map, voice, zoom and vein-mining key.
  • Key clashes fixed once per pack update: J opens the world map again when M is voice mute, and the voice icon and creative toolbar keys give way to the minimap and zoom. Other controls stay as you set them.
  • Includes pack 1.7.0.

The app has no Windows publisher certificate, so SmartScreen may show Unknown publisher. A local Defender scan found no threats; that is not a guarantee for other PCs.

Holy Lois: Reborn 1.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@pjampjam pjampjam released this 03 Oct 06:02

Holy Lois: Reborn 1.2.0 is a visual refresh with a smarter settings merge. Existing installs receive it through the signed app-stable channel the next time Holy Lois opens.

  • New color system. Layered charcoal surfaces, warm Holy Lois gold for the next step, a stronger green Play button and red only for removal or failure. Buttons, fields, menus and panels share one rounded shape, and the chosen launcher card is tinted gold.
  • Hover and press feedback works the same on every button color without hurting text contrast. Keyboard focus rings and reduced-motion behavior are unchanged.
  • New mod controls are set up for you. When a pack update adds a mod with keybinds, Holy Lois sets them once, only if that control has no binding yet and the key is free. Your own controls are never replaced.
  • Includes pack 1.6.0 as the starting pack: Farmer's Delight cooking, Macaw's Furniture, Xaero's Minimap and World Map (J opens the map, so M stays voice mute) and Jade.

The core suite passed 36/36 groups, the UI focus, contrast, reduced-motion and modal checks passed, and a real 1.6.0 install succeeded in an isolated folder. A local Defender custom scan found no threats. The app has no Windows publisher certificate, so SmartScreen can still show Unknown publisher, and local scans cannot guarantee results on other PCs.

Holy Lois: Reborn 1.1.0

@pjampjam pjampjam released this 02 Oct 22:23

Holy Lois: Reborn 1.1.0 fixes stale SKlauncher folder links and reduces duplicate app/mod downloads. Existing installs receive it through the signed app-stable channel.

  • Download HolyLoisReborn.exe. One self-contained Windows x64 app, about 67 MB. Choose your launcher and optional shortcuts, install the pack, then Play.
  • SKlauncher automatically receives its native Library entry. Click Install inside SKlauncher once to prepare Minecraft and Java, then Play. Repair restores a deleted entry.
  • Verified completed downloads/stages are cleared, while the working app, one rollback, worlds and personal extras stay. Settings has a progress-reporting cleanup button.
  • Matched image crops, accessible short transitions and clearer EN/RU/LV guides.
  • Pack 1.5.4 removes the red inventory profile selector and green matching-item overlays, adds quiet durability tooltips, restores automatic DH overdraw and binds Page Down to body view without replacing custom controls.

The final artifact passed fresh/upgrade checks, update/rollback tests, UI verification and a supported Defender custom scan with no new detection. The app has no Windows publisher certificate; SmartScreen can still show Unknown publisher. Local scans cannot guarantee every PC or antivirus result. Keep protection enabled.

Holy Lois: Reborn - SKlauncher installation fix 1.0.3

@pjampjam pjampjam released this 02 Oct 17:38

Holy Lois: Reborn 1.0.3 fixes SKlauncher 4 pack installation. Installation now adds Holy Lois to the native Library automatically with the correct Fabric version and icon. Repair restores a deleted Library entry. Existing owned packs are discovered, and unrelated instances and personal settings are preserved.

Close SKlauncher and Minecraft, reopen Holy Lois to receive this update, select SKlauncher, then click Install or Repair / check files. Click Play in Holy Lois, open Library in SKlauncher and select Holy Lois: Reborn. If SKlauncher shows Install, click it once to prepare Minecraft and Java, then Play. Manual import and folder linking are no longer required.

Fixed the .NET error triggered by restarting or removing the app from Settings. Play stays disabled until the chosen launcher has a registered, verified pack.

Validation: core tests, fresh signed modpack installation, deleted-entry recovery, Settings shutdown regression, native app update and rollback. Local Defender scan found no threats with protection enabled. The app remains unsigned by a Windows publisher certificate.

Holy Lois: Reborn - Privacy hotfix 1.0.2

Choose a tag to compare

@pjampjam pjampjam released this 02 Oct 04:57

Holy Lois: Reborn 1.0.2 removes personal build paths from executable debug metadata. The public source, guides and administrative scripts now use portable paths and private local SSH configuration. Private support-case references were removed. Public-data checks were added for source and nested archives.

Existing players can close and reopen Holy Lois to receive the signed update. The modpack, game data and update verification keys remain unchanged.

The core test suite passed, the executable's 384 embedded files were inspected and its local Defender scan found no threats with protection enabled. This does not guarantee every antivirus result. The app remains unsigned by a Windows publisher certificate.

Older executable downloads containing personal build metadata have been retired. Use this version for new installs.

Holy Lois: Reborn 1.0.1 - Shortcut naming hotfix

Choose a tag to compare

@pjampjam pjampjam released this 02 Oct 04:23

Executable download retired during the privacy cleanup. Use the current Holy Lois launcher. Source and reviewed pack downloads remain available.

Holy Lois: Reborn 1.0.1 completes the full-release naming migration when an older installer shortcut already occupies the final shortcut name.

Existing Holy Lois Reborn shortcuts pointing to the old HolyLoisSetup.exe are retargeted to HolyLoisReborn.exe, and the redundant owned Preview shortcut is removed. Unrelated shortcuts and deleted shortcut choices remain untouched.

Includes the 1.0.0 full-release folder and profile-name migration, data-preserving backups and signed automatic updates. Close and reopen your installed app to update. Fresh users can run the single EXE below.

The exact legacy shortcut collision passed a native Windows test, and the final file passed a local Defender scan with protection enabled. The unchanged Core previously passed 31 test groups. The app remains unsigned by a Windows publisher certificate; SmartScreen may show Unknown publisher and other antivirus results can differ.
