Updated

• Achievement tabs switch again with Num Lock or Caps Lock on, and Holy Lois comes first, then the vanilla tabs in order
• Game music pauses while a boombox plays nearby; a dropped boombox stops right away
• Recipe viewer: the item list appears only while you search, and the developer Tags tab is hidden
• Plain tools are used until they break and then swapped; enchanted gear is swapped just before it breaks, with an alert
• First-person body sits a little further back, so looking down no longer shows the inside of your neck

The server updates at the same time (onboarding 1.6.0, Holy Lois Extras 1.1.0). Open the launcher and click Update before joining.

• Macaw's Holidays: Christmas trees, lights, garlands, candy canes and Halloween decorations.
• Tab leaderboards: diamonds, ancient debris, playtime, mob kills, blocks mined and more.
• Discoveries: the first visit to a big structure is announced to everyone. Villages and small ruins stay quiet.
• After death: chat shows your death coordinates and the minimap death point clears when you reach it.
• Looks: Legendary Tooltips, LambDynamicLights (held torches light up), Falling Leaves, Continuity connected glass, Status Effect Bars and Shulker Box Tooltip. Controlling adds a search bar to Controls.
• Fixes: chest flicker with shaders, J opens the world map again, key clashes, no mod count on the title screen, and real chunks load further out before the distant view.

Existing settings, worlds, personal mods and shaders are kept. Only the listed shared settings change.

Holy Lois: Reborn - Pack 1.6.1

Holy Lois pack 1.6.1 brings cooking, furniture, maps and new places to explore. Close Minecraft and your launcher, reopen Holy Lois and click Update. The server updates at the same time, so older packs cannot join after it goes live.

• Farmer's Delight: knife and cutting board, cooking pots and skillets, burgers, sushi rolls, pies and pumpkin slices. Wild cabbages, tomatoes, onions and rice grow in newly explored land.
• Macaw's Furniture: chairs and benches you can sit on, tables, desks, drawers, wardrobes and kitchen cabinets.
• Xaero's Minimap and World Map: J opens the world map (M stays voice mute), Y minimap settings, U waypoints, Z larger minimap. Jade shows what you are looking at.
• New structures: Dungeons and Taverns plus Towns and Towers appear in newly explored land, and their chests can hold Runeforged loot. Extra villages are spaced out so the world does not fill up with them.
• Custom music: /audioplayer puts your own songs on music discs and goat horns. They play through voice chat, so caves echo.
• Server: hold Tab for ping, TPS, uptime, playtime, day and weather, the server location, Latvian name days, the daily bot wall and a quote of the day. Right-click ripe crops to harvest and replant. One sleeping player skips the night.
• Updated MoreCulling 1.9.0 (final release) and CreativeCore 2.14.19.

Holy Lois: Reborn - Pack 1.5.4

Holy Lois pack 1.5.4 reduces inventory clutter and restores Distant Horizons automatic shader-aware overdraw. Close Minecraft and your launcher, then update or repair in Holy Lois.

• Hide the red inventory profile selector/arrows and green matching-item hover highlights. Sorting stays available.
• Show quiet localized remaining/max durability under item tooltips.
• Use Page Down to toggle the first-person body. Custom controls are preserved; legacy F6/unbound controls migrate when Page Down is free.
• Keep player animations, eye movement, shaders and the existing 50 client mods.
• Server death drops now last 30 minutes of loaded-world time and keep Flan owner protection. Ordinary drops retain their normal timer. Lava, fire and the void can still destroy loot.

Fresh official/SK installs and a 1.5.3 upgrade passed, including preserved personal mods, worlds, shaders and settings. Terrain and water behavior still need visual confirmation. Body clipping with FA+Player is a known upstream compatibility issue; Page Down gives a simple fallback.

Holy Lois: Reborn - Pack 1.5.3

Continuous crafting is disabled by default for new Holy Lois profiles. No mods, shaders or server files changed. Open Holy Lois and update the pack to 1.5.3.

Holy Lois: Reborn 0.4.0 - Distribution paused

Executable download retired during the privacy cleanup. Use the current Holy Lois launcher. Source and reviewed pack downloads remain available.

Distribution paused again - browser download detection reproduced

On 2026-10-01 at 22:18 Europe/Riga, Windows Defender removed the original HolyLoisSetup.exe downloaded through the browser from GitHub. Detection: Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.C!ml, threat ID 2147749372, definitions 1.459.505.0. Both public 0.4.0 executable assets have been withdrawn again. Do not use earlier installer download links or ask friends to whitelist them.

Local custom scans previously reported no threats for the same bytes. That did not establish browser-download safety. The machine currently also has a non-remediating Allow rule for this threat ID; its creation time is not established, so earlier clean scans cannot settle this issue. The strengthened release check refuses to report success while explicit non-remediating threat rules are present. No protection settings were changed by the agent.

Microsoft's submitted-sample page reports no positive cloud/client detection, but its formal final result is still Pending. The reproduced download event is contrary evidence requiring the requested diagnostic follow-up. The suspected false positive remains unconfirmed. Trusted Authenticode signing can help Microsoft identify the publisher, but it does not guarantee that this detection disappears.

The 0.4.0 files were restored briefly with explicit owner approval after clean local checks and then withdrawn when browser detection recurred. No binaries were rebuilt, renamed, rehosted or repackaged to avoid detection. Signed pack/source updates and the game server are independent of this hold. Existing Minecraft Launcher and SKlauncher profiles can still be used.

The owner removed the Allow rule and generated Defender MPSupportFiles.cab in an administrator terminal. With explicit owner approval, the diagnostics and follow-up report were submitted privately to Microsoft at 22:35 Europe/Riga on 2026-10-01, referencing the original case. The follow-up is Submitted with a Pending result. The diagnostic file was not uploaded to GitHub or sent to friends. Public executable distribution remains paused while the reproduced browser detection is investigated.

Holy Lois: Reborn 0.4.0 - automatic launcher updates and quick setup.

Open Holy Lois normally. It checks and installs launcher updates before the main window opens, then updates its small startup checker from the signed app. Existing 0.3.x installs receive this release automatically through their installed checker. No new installer run is needed for every launcher update.

First-time setup offers Minecraft Launcher or SKlauncher with the supplied artwork, separate optional Desktop and Start menu shortcuts, and English/Russian/Latvian. Existing players keep their launcher settings. Deleted or customized shortcuts stay untouched after launches, updates and installer reruns. Closing first setup leaves it incomplete.

A verified installed app can open when the release service is unavailable. Invalid signatures, version rollback and changed contents of an existing version are refused. Owner mode keeps its publishing folder through update handoff.

The public installer is 979,456 bytes (under 1 MB). The full app/runtime downloads automatically, with no separate .NET install. The modpack remains 1.5.0. First-time launcher login, SK import and microphone selection remain personal setup steps.

Checked: 22 updater test groups, English/Russian/Latvian layout previews, embedded checker install/repair, valid release verification, and tampered catalog/executable rejection. Windows Authenticode signing is not present, so SmartScreen/antivirus warnings remain possible.

Live upgrade verified on the owner's PC: the installed 0.3.1 checker upgraded the app and itself to 0.4.0 without an installer rerun. Player settings, pack receipts and missing shortcuts were preserved. The existing Admin shortcut also uses the automatic owner-mode handoff.

Holy Lois: Reborn - Shortcut hotfix 0.3.1

Executable download retired during the privacy cleanup. Use the current Holy Lois launcher. Source and reviewed pack downloads remain available.

Installer shortcut hotfix. Desktop and Start menu shortcuts are created only on the first installation. Deleted shortcuts stay deleted on subsequent launches, updates and installer reruns. Existing installations migrate without recreating missing shortcuts.

Existing players: download and run this new HolyLoisSetup.exe once to replace the older installer. Minecraft pack 1.5.0, the main app 0.3.0 and personal settings stay in place. The installer remains under 1 MB.

Regression checks cover first installation, deleted Desktop and Start menu shortcuts, preserved customized shortcuts, installer reruns and older-installation migration.

Holy Lois: Reborn - Pack 1.5.2

Pack 1.5.2 adds the centered EasyAuth registration/login form and quieter Holy Lois join notices. Routine register/login/success chat, the native resource-pack download-progress toast and the repeated insecure-chat popup are hidden on Holy Lois only. The welcome and command tips remain. Real download failures and auth errors remain visible; chat validation and server pack delivery stay active.

Includes restored player movement/eye-expression pack order, 3D Skin Layers Iris Compatibility Mode for all shaders, opt-in inventory slot locks and silent low-durability/failed-replacement alerts. Same-IP remembered login remains 24 hours. Premium identities and player data are preserved.

Server helper 1.2.0 gives first registrations safe random placement inside the pregenerated Overworld and holds the black screen for 1.5 seconds afterward. Death respawns use random placement only without a usable bed or anchor. Returning players keep their position.

Validation: owner confirmed SKlauncher registration/RTP and unchanged premium joins/inventory/location. Twenty policy checks, full-pack login/registration/arrival/Escape rendering, runtime toast tests preserving failures and other servers, fresh installation and existing-pack upgrade tests passed. All 14 shared mod hashes match; no required dependencies are missing. Full plus differential backups restored separately with 286 verified files. Valid-bed, broken-bed, death and two-player acoustic checks remain in TEST-GUIDE.md.

Public launcher and installer executables stay paused by owner choice until Microsoft's final review result. This pack release contains no replacement launcher executable.
