Markdown Preview now gives readers direct control over preview width and zoom gestures, while image rendering and Quick Look asset handling are more reliable.

Added

  • Content Width setting. View > Content Width now lets you choose between Centered and Full Width preview layouts, with the selected mode applied to open previews and remembered across launches (#157).
  • Trackpad pinch zoom. Pinch gestures now zoom the rendered preview directly, matching the existing toolbar and menu zoom controls while keeping the selected zoom level in sync (#156).

Fixed

  • Explicit image sizes are respected. Markdown images with width or height attributes now keep those requested dimensions instead of being forced back to the default responsive image sizing (#158).
  • Quick Look image rewrites stay scoped to user content. Quick Look preview asset rewriting no longer touches generated UI assets, avoiding broken internal preview resources when Markdown files contain local images (#152).
