Markdown Preview now supports native macOS window tabs and keeps centered previews steadier while sidebars, zoom, and window resizing change the reading layout.

Added

  • Native window tabs. Markdown files can now open as native macOS tabs in the frontmost document window, with File > New Tab, the window tab controls, and Project Navigator options for opening files in a new tab or separate window (#164).

Fixed

  • Centered previews no longer jitter during sidebar changes. Centered mode now keeps the reading column aligned at the AppKit layout layer, so toggling the sidebar or Table of Contents no longer makes the content shift horizontally (#163, #162).
  • Zoom no longer resizes or pins the window. Centered preview zoom keeps the content width stable without growing the window or blocking narrow window resizing (#165).
