Kiro Language Pack 1.0.0

Community language pack for Kiro IDE — Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Translates the editor workbench and Kiro's own UI (session list, Settings, Agent Focus, spec / steering toolbars).

Verified against Kiro 1.0.228 and 1.0.242. Coverage: kiro core 979/979, kiro.kiroAgent 79/79.

Install

  1. Uninstall any other language pack first (including the official VS Code Chinese pack). Do not keep both installed.
  2. Download kiro-language-pack-1.0.0.vsix below.
  3. Kiro → Command Palette → Extensions: Install from VSIX… → pick the file.
  4. Command Palette → Language Pack: Select Display Language → choose 中文（简体）or 中文（繁體）→ restart Kiro (reload is not enough).

On Windows, do not double-click the .vsix.

Open VSX / VS Marketplace listings may follow separately; this Release is the supported install path today.

Optional patch

Some strings are hard-coded in the Kiro install. Clone the repo and run npm run patch -- --apply if you want those too — see the README. Not supported by AWS; re-run after every Kiro update.
