MIDI Journey 2 composes and transforms MIDI in Ableton Live using Pollinations.ai and your own Pollen balance.

• A cleaner chat and device panel that follow Live's theme.
• Resize between a compact MIDI view and full conversation, with native copy/paste and a window that stays visible.
• Direct Pollinations connection, compact account controls, and clickable MIDI previews for writing clips.
• Fixed Trash availability and removed extra tooltips and cancellation notices.

Every new device load starts with an empty chat and text field. No conversation, generated clips, drafts or personal login data are bundled. Closing and reopening the same device preserves its in-memory session.

Download MIDI-Journey-2.zip, unzip it, and load MIDI Journey 2.amxd on Main. Requires macOS, Live 12 with Max for Live, and Max 9.1.5 or newer.

The native macOS component is ad-hoc signed, without Developer ID signing or notarization. macOS may block it after download. Do not disable Gatekeeper.

Validation: 199 tests passed with no skips, exact frozen-device verification, native copy/paste and clean startup in Live 12.4.6 / bundled Max 9.1.5.

Compose MIDI through conversation in Ableton Live, use a selected clip as input, preview the result, then create or replace a Session clip.

• Adds a flat light/dark chat interface, browser sign-in and branded Open/Close artwork.
• Supports large MIDI clips and local exact transpositions.
• Keeps the existing Pollinations D1 prompt agent and MCP tools. No agent upload or production routing change.

Install

Download Midi-Journey-2.zip, unzip it, and drag Midi Journey 2.amxd onto Main in regular Ableton Live 12 with Max for Live. Click Open, then Connect to sign in with your own Pollinations account. Model requests use your Pollen balance.

Creating a clip replaces the selected clip's notes, title and length, or fills an empty MIDI slot. Start with disposable clips. macOS is the validated platform; Windows is not validated.

Validation

177 automated tests passed, including frozen-artifact checks. Frozen device bytes verified against source. Regular Live 12.4.6 / bundled Max 9.1.5 tested for clip creation, save/reopen and startup with source folders inaccessible. Remaining manual acceptance confirmed by the maintainer.
