Warning; This is a BETA release, and only intended for those of you who wants to test Sephia Five. It contains several new components, that have not yet been fully tested.

If you wish to use Phosphorus Five in production, I suggest you instead download the latest stable release.

However, this release features the following new items.

  • MySQL database Active Events
  • POP3 Active Events, for retrieving emails from pop3 servers
  • SMTP Active Events, for sending emails through an SMTP server
  • Full MIME support, allowing for creating MIME messages
  • PGP cryptography, for encrypting, decrypting and cryptographically sign/verify-signature of MIME messages. Relies on your GnuPG database of keypairs

Plus some other minor changes.

Be warned though, if you start using these features in your code, you might have to rewrite your code, due to changes in the API in the future, before I wrap up a stable release.

If you wish to try out Sephia Five though, you'll have to download this release.
