Describe the bug
I've got 2 monitors connected to my machine and would like to have "workspaces span displays" enabled as I tend to use both monitors for a particular piece of work at the same time (i.e. editor on the left screen, browser on the right screen).
In tiling mode, I'm able to change focus "to the left" using Super + H from a window on the right screen, to a window on the left screen. However, I can't move back again. When I press Super + L I'm taken to the next workspace rather than the original window on the right screen.
To Reproduce
- Setup Cosmic Deskop 1.0.0-Beta with 2 monitors connected
- Enable workspaces that span displays
- Set workspaces in horizontal orientation
- Enabling tiling mode in all workspaces, including the current one
- Create a window on each monitor (i.e. COSMIC Text Editor)
- Focus on the window on the right monitor
- Press
Super + H to move focus the window on the left monitor
- Press
Super + L to move focus to the window on the right
Expected behavior
Focus should be transferable, in all directions, across windows in the same workspace, even if they're on different displays.
Screenshots
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: Fedora 42 Workstation with Cosmic Desktop 1.0.0-Beta installed using
