Worked fine in Gnome on Ubuntu 25.04 and 25.10, macOS, etc.
I was trying to copy-paste an image from #2481 to Claude Code so I could dig into the code implementing keyboard shortcuts and work up hypotheses and ideas for diagnosing the cause.
"No image found in clipboard. Use ctrl-v to paste images."
I right-clicked the image in the GitHub thread and selected copy image, something I do all the time.
here's me demonstrating "copy image -> ctrl+v" working right now in this issue ^^
ctrl-shift-v of text works, shift-insert of text works, but ctrl-v of an image works with neither Cosmic Terminal nor Ghostty
The common denominator is Cosmic.
