Request for Night Light Mode in COSMIC Desktop #2498

Description

@Maalfer

It would be very useful to have a native Night Light feature in the COSMIC desktop environment, similar to the one available in GNOME. This feature would adjust the screen color temperature based on the time of day, reducing blue light exposure during the evening and improving overall eye comfort.

Motivation:

Helps reduce eye strain during nighttime use.

Provides a feature that has become standard in most modern desktop environments.

Avoids the need for third-party tools like redshift or gammastep that may not integrate perfectly with COSMIC.

Alternatives:
Currently, users can use external tools such as redshift or gammastep, but they are not seamlessly integrated into the COSMIC experience.

Additional context:
A built-in Night Light toggle (possibly under Display Settings or Power Settings) would greatly enhance usability and user comfort for those working late hours.
