Description: When using Google Chrome (or Chromium-based browsers) on COSMIC Alpha, exiting a video fullscreen mode using the ESC key leaves the window in a "limbo" state. The window exits the video player fullscreen, but the browser window itself remains borderless and does not restore the system title bar or window decorations.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open Google Chrome (tested on both .deb and Flatpak).
- Go to YouTube and play a video.
- Click the "Fullscreen" button in the video player (or press f).
- Press ESC to exit fullscreen
Expected Behavior: The window should return to its previous distinct windowed state with the COSMIC title bar and borders visible.
Actual Behavior: The window remains "stuck" in a maximized/fullscreen state without borders.
Workarounds:
- Pressing F11 twice forces the window to refresh and restore borders.
System Information:
- OS: Pop!_OS 24.04 (COSMIC Alpha)
- Hardware: HP Omen (Nvidia Graphics)
- Browser: Google Chrome Stable
- Notes: Tried forcing Use system title bar and borders in Chrome settings, but the behavior persists.
