Concurrent Server Startup

Downstream MCP server connections are now made concurrently at startup, replacing the previous sequential loop. With 10 servers at ~500ms each, startup drops from ~5s to ~500ms.

Added

  • Concurrent startup: JoinSet + Semaphore for bounded parallel server connections
  • sandbox.startup_concurrency config option (default 8, cap 64, set to 1 for sequential)
  • CV-12 config validation for the new field
  • Flaky test fix: increased child_process test timeout for macOS CI

Safety

  • Transport configs validated upfront before spawning any tasks (fail-fast, no orphans)
  • JoinSet aborts all in-flight tasks on Drop if any connection fails (no task/process leaks)
